技術說明: 結合臨床醫學、硬體開發、軟體整合及生理訊號處理等領域,藉由整合高速眼球追蹤攝影機之頭戴式裝置及史都華動作平台,以模擬臨床前庭功能試驗檢查法,給予特定方向及頻率之前庭刺激,並利用整合高速眼球追蹤攝影機之頭戴式裝置,來監測兩側三個半規管所誘發的前庭視覺反射及眼球震顫生理徵兆,量化眩暈程度,以提供臨床診療的依據,鑑別出不同型態的前庭系統疾病。同時也可藉由史都華動作平台六個自由度高精密度、非線性3D曲面動作及易操作的控制系統之優勢,依據前庭系統之解剖位置,給予前庭系統功能缺損病患具任意刺激頻率、強度及不同擺位之個人化前庭醫療復健計劃,將有助於改善因前庭系統功能失調導致的相關症狀。
 
The proposed project combines the various clinical and technological sciences, including clinical medicine, hardware development, software system and physiological signal processing. Through integrating head-mounted wearable device with high-speed eye tracking camera and the Stewart platform, the propose smart diagnostic and rehabilitation device for vestibular function provides vestibular stimulations with specific anatomical directions and frequencies as well as monitor the physiological phenomena of vestibulo-ocular reflex and nystagmus originated from semicircular canals. This physiological information would make it possible to identify quantitatively vestibular dysfunction status and distinguish different types of vestibular dysfunctions. In addition, because the Stewart platform possesses various advantages, including 6 degrees of freedom high precision synergistic motion and maneuverable control algorithm system, personalized precision rehabilitation program would be further prescribed based on individual vestibular dysfunction status to help ameliorate the related disturbed symptoms induced by vestibular dysfunctions.
 
科學突破性: 採用六自由度史都華動作平台,整合具嵌入式高速眼球追蹤攝影機之頭戴式液晶顯示器,藉由自行研發之電腦端控制策略程式參數及軟體程式,開發出一除了可提供視覺虛擬現實刺激、且具任意刺激頻率及強度調整身體三度空間擺位之前庭系統感知器官復健及監測前庭視覺反射、眼球震顫生理徵兆之裝置。
 
產業應用性: 可廣泛地應用於國內各個醫療院所,精確診斷及成功治療起因於前庭系統的相關擾人症狀,造福身受相關前庭系統功能缺損之病患。
